St. Michael’s Academy changes lives. Take Jasmine, a recent graduate of St. Michael’s who attended public school through sixth grade. She was in the public middle school and experiencing difficulties both academically and socially. She lacked motivation. Her grades were falling. Her parents feared for her future and made the choice to send her to St. Michael’s Academy.
Fast forward a few years. This bright, smiling and motivated young woman made new friends, started participating in class and did her homework. She started getting good grades. The best part? Jasmine was chosen to give the commencement address at her eighth grade graduation.
“St. Michael’s made a difference in my life because I met people who supported me and inspired me," said Jasmine. “I discovered who I was at St. Michael’s Academy. Everything I learned there has helped me to become the person I am today.”
We can make a difference. The caring and motivating teachers in our classrooms engage students and guide them to mature in character and intellectual achievement. We prepare our students not only for high school and college, but also for life. Jasmine is but one example of how St. Michael’s Academy can have an impact on our youth.
