|St. Michael's Academy utilizes several forms of communication in order to share news and information with families.|
Communication FoldersAll students are provided with communication folders. These folders are used for student's work and communication between school and home.
Praxi SchoolPraxi School is a very important online communication portal between parents, students and teachers. It is currently available to middle school students and their parents and will very soon be available to all grades. All parents and students are assigned a login and password for only their child's record. Here they will have access to quiz and test grades, special project grades, homework compliance and missing assignments/tests/quizzes. We encourage all parents to login on a regular basis to view their child's progress.
If for some reason you have not received a login and password, please contact the school immediately.
The MessengerThe Messenger is the official St. Michael's Academy e-newsletter. It is sent home weekly and includes important reminders, calendar notices, and recent news. We strongly encourage families to read the newsletter on a weekly basis as it is one of our main avenues of communication.
All parents or guardians should have an e-mail address on file with the school. If your family does not have e-mail, please notify the school.
If you would like to submit an email address to receive the weekly Messenger newsletter, please send the address(es) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blackboard ConnectThe Blackboard Connect automated phone system serves as a means of directly contacting parents or guardians in case of a school-wide emergency, closing, delay, or other important school-related business.
It is imperative that the school has the most updated contact information for each student. Please notify the school as soon as possible if there are any changes in family contact information.

Yearbook Photo Share OpportunityIn past years our wonderful parents shared photos with the yearbook staff. Many of these amazing photos were included in our yearbook. This year our yearbook company, School Annual/Jostens, is offering everyone a new way to share photos, through an app!
The app is called Replay It. This app is available through the iTunes App Store and Google Play for the Android and IPhone. Simply download the app, choose our school, create a username and password, and off you go! You can upload, tag, and share photos by event. You can also browse and like photos that other users have shared as well. Our school counselor, Mrs. Freeman, tested the app for ease of use and she gives the app two thumbs up! Please take a few minutes to download the app and start sharing your photos with us. We would love to include a variety of photos to showcase our students participating in extracurricular activities throughout the school year. We will do our best to include as many photos as possible in the yearbook. Download your app today!
